Bedford Street South offers Non-En-suite and One-bed Large Double rooms, accommodating up to 200 students. Each flat has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and cosy lounge. The city centre is a short walk from Bedford Street South, and there are plenty of coffee shops around the city's harbour, making it a great place to spend some free time. Carefully fill in the cardholder information, and please ensure that the payment card has sufficient credit, and the bank is opened and supports payment behavior. Please note that payment cards do not need to be present in person. 2. How do I collect my access card?
After completing the check-in process at the front desk, you can get the key card from the apartment front desk
Can someone else get the key card for me?
No, for security reasons, your key card can only be collected by yourself.
Can I keep pets inside the apartment?
No, no pets are allowed in the apartment.
What should I do if I need to report for repair?
Report repairs by using apartment software. If there is no APP in the apartment, you can report for repair through the front desk of the apartment
Can I smoke inside the room?
The apartment is non-smoking for safety reasons and has smoke alarms. If you need to smoke, please ask the front desk of the apartment where the corresponding smoking area is located.
What's in the room?
All rooms are furnished, but students need to bring their own bedding and kitchen utensils.
Can I bring my own appliances?
For health and safety reasons, students are not permitted to bring certain electrical devices. These include rice cookers, microwave ovens, slow cookers, space heaters, refrigerators, dishwashers, humidifiers, smoke machines and electric blankets.
Can people under the age of 18 stay here?
If you turn 18 during your first semester of university, your contract will need to be signed by an adult over the age of 18.
Can I pay in installments?
If you have a UK guarantor or use Housing Hand provided by a guaranty service, you can pay in installments. If there is no UK guarantor, a lump sum rent payment will be required.
What is a guarantor?
A guarantor is a person aged 18 or above who bears joint financial responsibility for the lease. If the student is unable to pay the rent due for any reason, the guarantor is responsible for paying the rent. The apartment has the right to ask the guarantor to recover the unpaid amount, so it is very important for the student's guarantor to understand their responsibilities.

Who can be a guarantor?
Guarantor conditions: -over 18 years of age; -living in the UK for at least 12 months; -full-time job or a homeowner. The sponsor must also provide a copy of photo identification and a copy of proof of address in the UK, which needs to be valid for less than three months.
What if I want to cancel my reservation?
Please note that you do not have the right to cancel the tenancy once the student has signed the tenancy agreement, so if the student chooses to cancel the booking, they will forfeit their deposit and any rent paid and will still be bound by the tenancy agreement obligations. The property may consider cancellation requests on its own, but there is no guarantee that students will be able to cancel the lease, nor is the property obliged to agree to do so. Students can contact the apartment manager directly (by phone, email, or in person) to discuss any cancellation requests. Students can find the manager's contact information in the confirmation email and rental agreement. Can I leave early?
Can. However, even if students no longer live in the apartment, they still need to pay rent for the entire lease period. Please contact the apartment reception.
