Another good thing is that Lidl and Tesco are downstairs, so cooking is really convenient. Lidl is quite large, so you can basically buy all the basic ingredients there, and there’s also a small Chinese supermarket within a five-minute walk. Everything is very convenient.
I haven’t encountered any safety issues, so overall it’s actually pretty good.
The only thing is that the kitchen range hood is basically useless, but that’s pretty much the case everywhere in the UK.

Others: Hot water is always available; there’s no need to worry about access control and security, and receiving parcels is convenient. The lighting in the room is sufficient for daily use, but if you plan to read or study at a desk, remember to bring a desk lamp.

Overall, it’s a very good choice. The Lidl downstairs basically covers daily necessities, and there are also a few Express stores from other supermarkets nearby. Superdrug has a fairly complete range of medicines as well. The way back from school is along Oxford Road the whole time, and it feels relatively safe at night. After all, there are still quite a lot of pedestrians, and the area is fairly well lit. There are also Chinese supermarkets, Sainsbury’s, and Morrisons along the way, so they’re all very convenient. The room is decent and standard, and the main thing is that the price is relatively reasonable. The only downside is that it’s indeed a bit close to the South Asian area, so it may be noisy at night—mainly during the days around Eid, but most of the time it’s still very quiet.

I can only say that once you choose this room, you will fall into the nest of the Indo-Pakistani people, and these people can keep talking all night long, yelling at the top of their lungs.
