Reservations can be canceled until July 31 of the same year the resident moves in. Booking fees are non-refundable.

How can I meet other people living in the apartment?

The apartment is equivalent to an international community built for students. The students staying here are studying in various universities and institutions. This diversity is a very meaningful experience for studying abroad.

How to collect mail/express?

Mail will be delivered to the mailbox in the apartment. Larger mail or mail that requires a signature will be left at the reception. If the reception receives your email, you will be notified, please go to pick it up in time.

I only have a con offer, can I book an iQ apartment?

Yes, if you do not meet the grade requirements of the universities you have applied to, then your booking fee will be fully refunded. When applying for a refund, you need to provide a confirmation letter from the university to withdraw the offer - please provide it within 72 hours after receiving the official confirmation letter. Please note that this is the only case where the booking fee, or deposit (in Scotland only) is refundable.

Can I store items during the holidays?

If you continue to live in the next year, you can discuss storage with the apartment.

Can I choose a specific room in the apartment?

Of course, you can communicate with the consultant when booking and choose a room you like best.

If you want to bring a TV, please check if there is a TV connection in your room, but do not bring a TV larger than 21 inches. It is not allowed to hang the TV on the wall, so please make sure your TV can be installed independently.

Can I bring my bicycle?

Yes, most iQ apartments have secure bicycle storage which is free to use. But you need to register your bike with the management team of the apartment when you check in.

Can I come with my own car?

Some of our apartments offer a limited number of parking spaces, some of which are disabled parking spaces. However, the apartment is very close to the school and various facilities, so there is no special need to drive. If you do need to arrange a parking space, please contact the management team of your apartment as soon as possible so that it can be reserved for you (as parking spaces are in high demand).

Can I move out of the apartment early?

You can move out at any time, but the tenancy agreement with iQ is for a fixed term and you will still be required to pay the full rent until the contract expires. In special cases, the operation manager has the right to allow the guest to terminate the contract in advance.

Can I check in earlier?

Yes, we can try our best to arrange early check-in for you in most cases. Please contact the iQ Apartments management team directly and they will be in charge of making arrangements for you.

After check-in, the room can be changed if the situation permits. However, switching rooms will incur additional costs. Make sure the room you want is available, and then apply to the manager of your apartment.

Plus, the windows are very bright and not soundproof, and the walls are made of a steel structure with partitions, making you feel like you are living in a slum, very delightful. From the moment you step through the main door of this apartment, don't expect any tranquility. The architectural style means that wherever you go upstairs, you will know. Wherever you walk, those downstairs will know, promoting neighborly relations.

All day long there are various repairs, workers barge into the apartment every week, it's so annoying. But hardly any of the things that need maintenance are in good condition. The microwave is broken as soon as it's turned on, there are mice that take forever to deal with, and the floor makes a loud cracking sound when walking on it. The stove automatically cuts off every 15 minutes, making cooking very troublesome. At midnight, there's yelling and shouting downstairs, and the security doesn't care. The facade has been under repair for years and is still not fixed; I feel like I've rented a construction site. I'm fed up.

Overall, it's quite good. There are many supermarkets around, making it convenient for shopping. I haven't been to the gym much, but it's better than nothing. Whenever something in the apartment breaks, they come to fix it fairly quickly. The only problem is that I lost two packages when the school started. Although they weren't expensive items, it was still quite annoying.
