Vita Student First Street - Student Accommodation Manchester offers 270 Studio rooms exclusively for students, perfect for solo living enthusiasts. The rooms are fully furnished and supplied with bedding to help you settle into new surroundings. The kitchens are fully equipped with SMEG products, ranging from 3-in-1 microbloggers, ovens and toasters to fridges, cooker hoods, kettles and toasters. Vita Student First Street is one of the few student flats in the UK with air-conditioning that can be adjusted to a minimum of 18 degrees and a maximum of 30 degrees. The flat is designed with a partition between the bed and the kitchen to block out grease and smoke. There is a bedside lamp above the bed, and the storage space under the bed and wardrobe are partitioned. There are plugs in the storage space behind the mirror in the bathroom and the shower has two showers that can be changed. The desk is double-tier and can be pulled out for separate use; there are shelves above the desk and storage below.
Step out of your room and relax in the communal space of Vita Student First Street. You can watch TV with friends in the spacious Lounge or discuss food tips in the DiningHall. If you need some private time, head to the Wine Tasting Room or the Coffee Bar for some quiet time. Alternatively, the Gym and Cinema Room are also amenities to consider during your leisure time to make everyday life more fulfilling.

What should I do if something in my room is broken or malfunctioning?
You can easily report repairs from the comfort of your room using the app provided by the apartment! Just fill out the repair form and you can also add a picture, and the maintenance manager will respond as soon as possible. You can also go downstairs and talk to the customer service team at the front desk about the issue; they are more than happy to help!

No, for safety reasons, you can only pick up your access card in person.

You can contact the apartment's customer service team via email to inquire about the possibility of an early check-in.
What is the booking fee that I paid when I made the reservation?
When booking an apartment, a deposit of 2 weeks' rent is required, which will be deducted from the total rent amount. Payment can be made via Visa/MasterCard or directly through the order on uhames.com.
When is the deadline to pay the rent?
Log in to the student portal of the apartment and check your payment plan on the booking page. Additionally, the apartment will provide a contract that will be marked, and once the booking is successful, the apartment will send a copy of the contract to the student's email, so be sure to save it!
Can I smoke in the room?
No. According to the signed rental agreement, smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment. Each apartment has a designated smoking area, so please smoke there.
What fees do I need to pay?
We just need to pay the rent! The rent includes water, electricity, internet, and heating costs! Additionally, we have exclusive special prices, so make sure not to miss the discounts when you book, classmates!
Will there be issues with aging facilities in an older apartment?
The facilities are high-end in every aspect, and the latest live streams also show that the indoor quality is still very high. Additionally, there is a professional maintenance team available for prompt repairs if any issues arise! You can check out the replay of the live stream we previously did at the apartment!
What should I do to request a repair?
1. Report repairs using the apartment app.
2. Report repairs at the apartment reception.
When can I check in?
You can check in as soon as the contract begins. If you arrive at the apartment outside of business hours, it's best to inform the apartment in advance so they can arrange your check-in.
What is the difference between classic and classic plus?
Orientation and window availability: Classic facing southwest cannot open windows, while Classic Plus facing northeast can open windows.
Where can I do laundry?
All dormitories have laundry rooms within the apartment building, equipped with washing machines and dryers. The cost for washing is about £4-5 per load, and the cost for drying is around £2-3. You can check the location of the laundry room in our previous live stream where we visited the apartment!
What time is breakfast served in the apartment?
Typically, it's from 7 AM to 10 AM on weekdays!
Why can't you open the window in Classic?
Some apartments in the UK may have windows that cannot be opened for safety reasons, but they all come with fresh air systems, so you don't have to worry about air circulation!
Is it quite a distance to walk to the University of Manchester?
It takes about a 15-minute walk to reach the engineering school, which is quite a reasonable distance, and it's close to the city center with convenient transportation. The area is surrounded by student apartments, making it relatively safe. You can check out the live stream replay from our previous visit to the apartments! Additionally, the apartments offer breakfast, so you can either eat breakfast there or take it to the school, saving you time on buying breakfast!

How can air circulate when you can't open the window to cook?
The apartment is equipped with a fresh air ventilation system, which works like an air conditioner to ventilate and adjust the temperature, so you don't have to worry about air circulation indoors!
Will the apartment staff enter my room without permission?
The apartment provides cleaning services every two weeks, so an email will be sent to notify the cleaning schedule. If you do not need the cleaning this time, you can cancel or reschedule via email. If there is no response, the apartment will assume that cleaning can proceed, so they may enter to clean directly. Just keep an eye on your emails and respond promptly to avoid any issues! Additionally, please note that email is a very common form of communication in the UK, and communication with universities and professors often happens through email as well!

What is the highest temperature the heating can be set to?
