The comfortable and spacious studio flats have been carefully designed to provide a warm and welcoming environment, offering plenty of space to relax and personalise.  Exchange Works Sheffield, a welcoming community full of friendly individuals and supportive staff, is here to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. 

 

Features

The Exchange Works Sheffield apartment block offers 94 student flats and 437 beds. There are four types of En-suite and 1 type of Studio available. The flats have en-suite bathrooms and open-plan kitchens with full kitchen facilities. Equipment in the kitchen includes a refrigerator, oven, stovetop, microwave and hoover. Cabinets and refrigerators have separate areas for each person to store their belongings. The room is equipped with a comfortable bed, a desk, a chair, etc. You can decorate the room to make it feel more homely. The bathroom is also provided with a shower, a sink, a mirror, a toilet seat, a towel rack, and more. The rooms offer ample student storage space, including wardrobes and under-bed storage. The hostel has laundry, recreation room, bike storage and vending machines

 

Within the common areas, Exchange Works also has various amenities for students to help them get used to living in a new environment better. Those who like reading and studying can have the perfect experience in the quiet study rooms. Those who prefer a more natural environment can also walk in the courtyard to get some fresh air. In addition, there are two large courtyards with greenery, ping pong tables, free pool tables, foosball tables, LCD TVs, and more.

5 day "cooling off" period. This means that should you need to, you can cancel your booking within 5 days of signing your tenancy agreement, as long as you have not yet moved in.

We work on a 5 day "cooling off" period. This means that should you need to, you can cancel your booking within 5 days of signing your tenancy agreement, as long as you have not yet moved in.

If you need to cancel after the "cooling off" period, we'll allow it in certain circumstances, like if your UK visa is refused or you don't make the grades for your chosen university. Just make sure to send us your UCAS notification or visa refusal documentation within 72 hours of receiving it.

You can also transfer your obligations to someone else if you find a replacement tenant who's eligible to live in the property. We'll need to run some checks to confirm their eligibility, but once everything's in order, they'll take over the tenancy agreement.

Check-in Guide

Contracts need to be fully completed before check-in.
Your keys will be handed to you at reception in line with your appointment time.
You have two days from checking in to report any previous damages or issues with your new room.

For check-out, the room and kitchen needs to be as you first checked in.
No belongings left behind.
A surrender of tenancy form needs to be signed and handed in to reception along with your keys.
If you have items you wish to donate, you can do so at reception.
