Great, very good, excellent. Living here is convenient for transportation, the environment is comfortable, and it feels very safe. There is a police station and a courthouse nearby, and the ladies at the front desk are very nice and welcoming.

It offers great value for money, and I would consider staying here again if I have the chance.

The apartment is frequently inspected, and the shuttle bus stops at 1:00 PM, but many classes start at 3:00 PM. Additionally, the shuttle buses are almost always on time, so you need to set off an hour in advance.

Don’t live at Crown House if you’re considering it—avoid it at all costs! First of all, one elevator started breaking down as soon as I moved in and was never repaired. It wasn’t until the other elevator also broke down and everyone had no elevator to use and had to take the stairs that they finally started fixing it. One elevator took almost two months to repair. I live on the top floor, and the apartment management gave tenants no explanation, reassurance, or compensation at all. When problems come up, they just pass the buck. Second, the deposit issue. Previously, repairs did not require a deposit deduction, because many maintenance requests were for things like light bulbs needing replacement, leaking pipes needing tightening, or curtains falling down. These are all normal wear and tear, and they used to be free. But now tenants around me have told me that these things will all be deducted from your deposit. Third, when I first moved in, I could hear someone cleaning our hallway every week, but now that no longer happens. Fourth, when a drunk man knocked on female tenants’ doors asking for sex, tenants reported it to the apartment management, but they did nothing and said that person was also a tenant, so there was nothing they could do. How can personal safety be guaranteed when living here? In the end, the female tenant had to call the police herself. Fifth, at night, the apartment management tacitly allows some non-residents to stay overnight in the building. This apartment used to be very good, but it has gotten worse and worse over the past few years. This is my experience after living here for a year. There are far more problems than just these. All I can say is: avoid it as soon as possible.
