Version 1 | Chinese Heartfelt Review (Suitable for Rental Platforms and Sublease Copy) I have been living in Sheffield Brass Founders for a while now, and the overall living experience has far exceeded my expectations. It is very suitable for students pursuing their master's degrees at Sheffield. The geographical location is the biggest plus point, just a 9-minute walk to the main campus of Sheffield University. It only takes a few minutes to get to the city center, Chinese supermarkets, and chain supermarkets. There’s no hassle for classes, shopping, or commuting; the commuting cost is extremely low. The apartment has 24-hour access control and security at the front desk, entry is card-based, and there are cameras covering the hallways, making it feel very safe even for a solo dweller. Large luggage and international packages can be sent directly to the apartment front desk for collection, making the process of moving in especially worry-free. I live in an En-suite room that is spacious enough, with a separate wet and dry bathroom. The bedroom includes a double bed, a super large wardrobe, and a desk, and the storage space is completely sufficient. The communal kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer-dryer. The 250M high-speed Wi-Fi is stable and does not drop, allowing for stress-free online research and classes. The rent includes all utilities (water, electricity, internet), which means no separate bills to pay, saving a lot of hassle. The public facilities are very well-maintained, with a free gym, study room, movie screening room, and leisure courtyard all open to residents. During my spare time, I can study quietly or socialize with classmates from the apartment. The property maintenance response speed is very quick; if there is an appliance malfunction, I can submit a request online, and staff will come to handle it on the same day, with friendly and patient service. A minor drawback is that there can be occasional queues in the kitchen during peak hours, and the low floors facing the street may have slight street noise, but closing the windows basically does not affect resting. Overall, the cost-performance ratio is high in Sheffield student accommodations.
The room is more spacious and bright than I imagined, the kitchen is big enough, and the bathroom is clean and tidy with plenty of hot water. The main highlight is the customer service lady, who is really patient, answering questions in great detail. The 24-hour service is truly genuine; I arrived at the apartment at 1 am and checked in smoothly. I was initially worried that nobody would be there to assist me at such a late hour. Haha, but I checked in without any issues, and the front desk security guy even helped me with my luggage. My roommates are all Chinese and super nice. It's easy to spark interesting conversations with people from different disciplines.

The noise problem that residents complained about last year and the hot water issue has been resolved this year. Not to mention, having a washing machine in the unit is really great; you can do laundry whenever you want, just be careful about whether some clothes can be tumble-dried. The drying temperature is quite high, and some clothes can't withstand that temperature, causing them to deform. The response to repair requests is also good; anything that breaks can be reported via the phone, and it basically gets fixed within a day or two. If appliances break, they can also be replaced, even the refrigerator. The service and attitude at the front desk are excellent, and there are snacks from time to time.
