Dundee is, I’m afraid, one of the cheapest cities in the UK. According to a compilation of past graduates, it can be seen that studying here will cost you around £5,000 a year to live, which includes accommodation, food, clothing, entertainment, studying and travelling to Europe, America and other countries. At the same time, the proportion of students in the population here is the highest in the whole of the UK. Entertainment at the University of Dundee is run according to the needs of the students, with a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, theatres, bars and first-class facilities. Voted Scotland’s friendliest university, Dundee’s low cost of living and reasonable tuition fees, combined with a high quality of life, are admired by international students worldwide.

Thriving Sports Facilities

University of Dundee

Like the Students’ Union, the University of Dundee Sports Union is a group that automatically enrols all registered students and has 45 clubs. There is an annual prize-giving ceremony for sports clubs and interaction between clubs. Every Wednesday, the sports clubs meet in the Students’ Union, and although this event is private, it is trendy.

The University directly governs the Institute of Sport and Exercise but works closely with student organisations. Its main building is on the main campus, with indoor sports facilities and a gym. The outdoor facilities are mainly located in the Riverside Stadium on the River Tay and other stadiums on the main campus. The Students’ Union building houses a 25-metre swimming pool. London officials included the University of Dundee in their 2012 guide to pre-competition training venues, thus making it a pre-competition preparation venue for Olympic athletes.
