The room was simply and practically furnished, the bed was soft, and I slept very well. Facilities such as the kitchen and laundry were also fairly complete, making it convenient for both short-term and long-term stays. The staff were friendly, the check-in and communication process went smoothly, and responses to any issues were relatively prompt, which made me feel very reassured.
The location is also very good. Transportation nearby is convenient, and it is easy to get to the school, supermarkets, and the city center. The surrounding living facilities are well developed, so daily shopping and dining do not require going far. Although it is located in a convenient transportation area, the overall environment is relatively quiet and not affected by much noise, making it very suitable for both studying and resting.
Overall, Burnsall House met my expectations in terms of living environment, facilities, service, and location, and it offers good value for money. Whether for international students or short-term residents, it provides a relatively comfortable living experience. If I have the opportunity to come here again in the future, I would be willing to choose Burnsall House again and would also recommend it to friends around me.

The internet speed on the fifth floor is really poor. It has not treated me well at all.
The room on the left side of the fifth floor gets especially hot and sunny in summer, so I don’t recommend it for people who are sensitive to heat.
(But you can get beautiful sunrises, really beautiful. See attached photo.)
There are large floor-to-ceiling windows, and it is still pleasantly cool at night with the windows open.
The soundproofing is very good and it’s very quiet, but there is only one elevator.
Security is average, and the front desk is average too (only open on weekdays from 9am to 5pm, not 24/7).
The hot water is okay, but I feel like the water pressure on the fifth floor has gotten weaker.
To get to school, you can only take an Uber, walk, or bike. The bus is not convenient.
There is a large Sainsbury nearby that is great to shop at, but it still takes 30 min to walk there and back.
bh is good everywhere but the security is generally lacking
As a rural studio, it's 250 a week
Having your own independent washing machine is a great sense of happiness
But the security is quite worrying
Many people can mix in and occupy bh's self-study room
There's no 24-hour security
On weekends, you can’t find anyone
People often lose their packages
The service attitude is okay, but you have to urge them
The sound insulation is very good, the dormitory was newly built 25 years ago, and the facilities are very new.
