Our studio apartments are ideal for students wanting to live comfortably, with the added extra of privacy. They’re self-contained and because the kitchen area is separated by a wall, these studios give off a one-bedroom apartment feel! Featuring a double bed, desk and chair area, lots of shelving space, and a kitchen, you have everything you could need here to thrive from life at university.
When it comes to utilities, there’s an onsite laundry room for you to use and free wifi throughout the property. The price per week includes all bills, saving you any hassle dealing with external companies (because we know just how painful this is!)
What we love so much about Studio 58 are its common areas, created to give students the social aspects that studio apartments miss. They’ve got cosy sofas, a TV and a pool table to chill out with your friends.

The security of the access control is average, and the front desk has unstable working hours, occasionally there is no one present. Additionally, since the front desk is on the basement level, if no one is there, delivery personnel cannot enter, and packages will not be received at the front desk, leading to delayed deliveries. The sound insulation is average, the building is old, and the facilities in the room are somewhat outdated.

In the YOUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN part of the document, you can find the deadline for paying rent and the corresponding rent amount. When I make a reservation, is the advance rent paid a deposit? How to refund?
Advance Rent is prepaid rent, used as a deposit. After you successfully check in, Advance rent will be deducted from your rent and will not be refunded.
How to pay rent?
There are two ways to pay the apartment rent, online payment or bank wire transfer 1. For online payment, please log in to the Account of Unite Students, click the Payments page, enter the rent amount to be paid in the dialog box, click the Pay button, and enter the payment card information. If it is a British savings card, select the Debit card type (the corresponding Billing address needs to be changed to a British address), if it is a Chinese credit card, select the Credit card type (the billing address remains the domestic address) 2. For bank wire transfer, please log in to the Account of Unite Students and click Booking page, download the Bank Transfer Info file, communicate with the bank in advance, and bring the corresponding materials to the bank counter or self-service money transfer machine for remittance. In the remittance postscript, please fill in the personal reservation information (refer to the content required in the bank_tranfer_info file). The wire transfer does not arrive in real time , please be sure to wire transfer 1-2 weeks before the deadline to ensure that the funds arrive on time. Since the bank will charge a cross-border payment service fee, please pay the required rent + service fee when paying the fee to ensure that the full amount arrives.

If you arrive on the same day but are only tens of minutes to a few hours late, you can wait at the front desk, and the staff will serve you after processing the students who have made an appointment. If you arrive on a different day, please click "Edit" in the check in summary of the Unite APP, and then choose a new check-in time that suits you. The apartment will also provide emergency contact information, which can be dialed at the entrance of the apartment or in a prominent place at the front desk. Alternatively, you can call the apartment's Emergency Control Center (UK) on 03003031611, and they will coordinate staff to help you.

Please refer to the corresponding activity details provided by the apartment when you make a reservation, and then please accept the corresponding details with the apartment.
Should I pay as much as the apartment needs to pay?
Please decide how much to pay based on your payment method, but please make sure that the amount of your rent is consistent with the amount required by the apartment. For example, if you use an international bank remittance, the intermediary bank will charge part of the handling fee, so in this case, please ensure that the amount paid is the payable rent + handling fee, and ensure that the full amount arrives to avoid arrears.

Can someone else get the key card for me?
No, for security reasons, your key card can only be collected by yourself.
Do I need to pay land tax?
If you are an eligible full-time student, you will be exempt from paying land tax. You must provide proof to the apartment that you are a full-time student

The apartment is non-smoking for safety reasons and has smoke alarms. If you need to smoke, please ask the front desk of the apartment where the corresponding smoking area is located.
