Reported on the day of move-in that the mattress was damaged, took a week to confirm a new mattress, it has been five days since the mattress arrived and they have not come to replace it, three days without responding to emails, saying there are more urgent matters to handle. If you are still waiting for the admission result, you can still apply for a student dormitory. If you are not admitted, you only need to terminate this agreement within 3 days after the release of the results. You need to provide written proof of not being admitted. Your accommodation will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Once you move in, you will be responsible for cleaning the room as well as the shared areas within the suite.

Is there an age requirement to stay in an apartment?
You must be 18 years of age on or before the start date of your rental agreement.

If you want to pay your rent in installments, you will need a guarantor in the UK. If you choose to pay the gross rent in advance, you do not need a UK guarantor.
Can I end my lease early?
As a tenant with a fixed-term lease, you cannot terminate the lease early. You can find a replacement tenant for your lease as long as they take over the entirety of the contract and pay the rent in full.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, you will need to pay a deposit of £250 to secure your room. A deposit of £250 will be held as a custodial deposit with DPS (Deposit Protection Service) – https://www.depositprotection.com/
Can I smoke in the accommodation?
No, smoking is not allowed in the property.
