Trinity Student Village offers students three different En-Suite room types. The En-Suite rooms are fully equipped with private bathrooms, large comfortable double beds with plenty of storage space underneath, and bespoke wardrobes to provide students with a comfortable living environment. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, oven and fridge for students' cooking convenience.

 

The flats also have a standard recreation room to enrich students' lives. Laundry room, bike storage, etc., make students' life at Trinity Student Village more peaceful and comfortable. Free 50Mb/s broadband and WiFi are provided in all rooms to ensure smooth study and entertainment. In addition, the hostel rent includes all expenses, such as high-speed WIFI, financial insurance, water, electricity and gas. The halls of residence work in partnership with the Students' Union; each room is designed to meet the student's specific needs.

 

Location and What's Hot?

The student residences are located on Great Shaw Street, close to the campus, shops, restaurants, recreation, and everything you need to get by. It is a 3-minute walk to the neighbourhood's main street, where there are several restaurants. The Tesco Express, open from 7-11 p.m., is a 3-minute walk away for your daily needs. 

 

Trinity Student Village is only five minutes from the city centre, with a wide variety of bars, restaurants and attractions. There's plenty of food to try, with many national chains, including pizza takeaways, Turtle Bay and Nando's. If you like rock 'n' roll, head to St John's Square to enjoy rock 'n' roll music, and history buffs can head to the Harris Museum and Art Gallery, which showcases the area's spectacular history and art in exhibitions held throughout the year. If you like shopping, Preston's two shopping centres, Fishguard and Fladgate, are to be noticed!

 

Transport

From Trinity Student Villag, a 4-minute walk to University Square, a 5-minute walk to the UCLan, a 10-minute walk to the city centre, and the surrounding area is very convenient. There is a bus stop 3 minutes walk away, making it easy for students to commute, and Preston Station is 14 minutes walk or 9 minutes by bus, making it easy for students to travel to other cities in the UK.

The toilet has no door and the shower head cannot be hung. Every time you take a bath, you can only hold the toilet faucet in your hand and the refrigerator is leaking. The refrigerator is moldy.

Cancellation Policy

No Visa No Pay

Prospective international students who have applied to attend a University or a Higher Education Institution in any of the cities in which Homes for Students operates, and who book a room with Homes for Students, will be allowed to be released from their Tenancy Agreement if they do not receive the entry Visa they require for their study in the UK and evidence is provided.

Only new customers who have never lived at a Homes for Students property are eligible.

If a customer does not receive the entry Visa they require for their study in the UK and wishes to be released from their Tenancy Agreement, they must provide Homes for Students with evidence of their refusal of entry to the UK to study no later than 7 days after notification of their refusal.

Evidence can be a copy of the letter from the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration service or other official Visa issuing body as well as a letter from the university, sponsor or institution where they were supposed to be studying. It must clearly show the student's full name, address and date of issue. This can be emailed to salesenquiries@wearehomesforstudents.com or posted to Homes for Students, 3 Clock Tower Park, Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley, Liverpool, L10 1LD.
Customers who do not apply to be released from their Tenancy Agreement within this timescale will be bound by the terms and conditions set out in the Tenancy Agreement.

No Place No Pay

Prospective first year students who have applied to attend a University or a Higher Education Institution in any of the cities in which Homes for Students operates, and who book a room with Homes for Students, will be allowed to be released from their Tenancy Agreement if, as a result of not achieving the required A-Level, Scottish Higher (or equivalent) results, they do not gain a place at their chosen university and evidence is provided.

Only new customers who have never lived at a Homes for Students property are eligible.

If a customer does not gain a place at their chosen University or College and wishes to be released from their Tenancy Agreement, they must provide Homes for Students with evidence of their rejection and evidence of the reason why (proof of results achieved etc) no later than 3 working days after their results day.

Evidence can be a written rejection letter from the University/College/UCAS, or a screen shot of the customer's UCAS status along with the results etc. This can be emailed to salesenquiries@wearehomesforstudents.com or posted to Homes for Students, Clock Tower Park, Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley, Liverpool, L10 1LD.

Customers who do not apply to be released from their Tenancy Agreement within this timescale and provide the correct evidence will be bound by the terms and conditions set out in the Tenancy Agreement.

Refund Guarantees Time Limit

7 days cooling off period
You can cancel your booking up to 7 days after you accept your offer or pay your deposit, providing you have not already moved in to the property and the apartment will refund your security deposit in full. Deposits will normally be refunded within 28 working days of cancellation, however the legal obligation as a landlord is to secure all deposits with a third party protection scheme. In the event that your deposit has already been sent to the protection scheme by the time you cancel your booking, your refund could take up to 60 days to be refunded due to the protection scheme's processing period and your deposit refund will come directly from them - you will need your repayment ID which will be sent to you directly by the protection scheme. If the deposit has already been sent to the deposit protection scheme, then the apartment is unable to influence their processing time.

2.Out of Initial Cancellation Period
If you cancel your booking after the 7 day Initial Cancellation Period, you will remain liable for the weekly rent (for each and every week or part week) until the apartment is able to re-let the room. If they are able to re-let the room they will release you from the agreement upon payment of a £50 variation of contract fee which they will recover by retaining part or all of your deposit. If you have paid a lower deposit amount, that's the amount that will be retained.

How to pay rent?

Please enter the Student Portal interface of your apartment, click Review/Pay Statement to enter the payment interface, then tick the items that need to be paid, and click pay to enter the payment interface. The apartment supports online credit card payment (credit card is supported) or bank transfer 1. For online credit card payment, please ensure that the payment card type is one of the following four types: Mastercard/Visa/Visa Debit/Visa Electron. Carefully fill in the cardholder information, and please ensure that the payment card has sufficient credit, and the bank is opened and supports payment behavior. Please note that payment cards do not need to be present in person. 2. For bank remittance, please contact the apartment to obtain the transfer account under the guidance of the consultant, and then complete the corresponding payment in the bank. However, please note that wire transfers can take several business days to arrive, so payment needs to be arranged in advance.

Is an installment purchase possible?

If you have a valid UK guarantor, you can choose to pay the rent in three installments, in September, January and April. If there is no valid UK guarantor, full rent must be paid 1 month before the start of the contract.
