Student Studio Flats in Belfast

If you're at Ulster University, living downstairs makes commuting extremely convenient, but the price is hardly competitive. The Edge apartments across the street and the nearby Great Patrick Street and Little Patrick Street apartments are all better value-for-money options. I lived in a studio on the upper third floor, and the soundproofing was really not great. Every day when I slept in, I could tell what time my neighbor got up, because as soon as he woke up, he would unplug things and turn on the tap—clear as day. Every night when I slept, there would be at least three speeding police cars passing by. In a sense, public security around here is very good and the response is quick. If you study at Queen's University Belfast, this apartment is way too far; you have to walk 40 minutes every day. In autumn and winter, it gets dark early, so it doesn't feel particularly safe. The free gym on the second floor is okay. When I first moved in, the atmosphere was quite nice, but during the move-out season there were fewer activities. There is a Tesco supermarket downstairs, which is pretty convenient. If you want cheaper groceries, you can take a trolley to the big Tesco behind it; everything is a bit cheaper there. Be careful under the overpass—there are reckless drivers speeding through, and those guys basically don't look at the traffic lights. Returning tenants get a big discount, seemingly £750 off per year. The bin room is quite an exercise in holding your breath. The front desk can collect parcels on your behalf, and picking up letters yourself is all very standard. The room has an induction hob, a small fridge, and a microwave-oven combo. There are seagull nests on the rooftop. That's all.

24-hour front desk! They reply really quickly! And the people are super friendly! Such kind people!!! Location-wise, it's right by the city center and very convenient. It's a 3-minute walk across the road from Ulster University, while Queen's takes about 45 minutes on foot (around half an hour by bus including waiting time; 20 minutes by bike). There are lots of supermarkets and shops nearby! Poundland, ASDA, etc. My room is the same as the sample photos; I asked them to move the sofa away. The facilities are very complete. I heard the gym and entertainment room are in the neighboring Great Patrick Studio. This building has a laundry room and a garbage room, a social space, and a garden with a shed for parking bikes. When I moved in, it looked clean on the surface, but the hygiene still needs to be cleaned by yourself according to your own standards. (I'm a bit of a clean freak, so I kept wiping the floor until the cloth and mop stayed white. I basically wiped every area more than a dozen times. The bathroom is all-in-one, so everything can be wiped clean, it's just tiring on the hands.) The room door panel isn't very thick, so you can hear sounds from the hallway, including doors opening and closing and the sound of locking and unlocking. (By the way, if an iPhone is playing music on speaker, at about 15% volume it can be heard through the door panel; at 30%, people passing in the corridor can hear it. Higher than that is also possible. Anyway, once the room door is closed, you can't hear sounds from other rooms; it's mainly people talking as they pass by and nearby neighbors opening and closing doors that you can hear.) It's just that the door panel lets sound through. So far, I haven't heard any noise from neighbors through the studio walls. With the window open, you can hear the busy traffic on the road and the nearby metro passing by, and occasionally there are people chatting loudly in the garden downstairs. Once the window is closed, you can barely hear it, and outside the window feels quiet.

I was very satisfied with this stay, and the overall environment was even better than expected. The room was clean and tidy, with a warm and comfortable layout. The decor was simple and elegant, making me feel relaxed as soon as I walked in. The bed was soft and comfortable, the sleep quality was excellent, and the soundproofing was also good. It was very quiet at night, allowing for a peaceful rest. The room was fully equipped, with air conditioning, hot water, Wi-Fi, and other facilities all working properly, making it very convenient to use and basically meeting all daily living needs. The host (or staff) provided warm and thoughtful service. From communication before check-in to assistance after arrival, they were very patient, responded promptly to messages, and even proactively provided recommendations for nearby food, transportation, and attractions, making the entire stay smoother. Check-in and check-out were both very convenient, with no complicated procedures, making the experience very easy and relaxing. The location of the accommodation was also excellent, with convenient transportation. There were subway stations, bus stops, supermarkets, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to buy daily necessities or go out for sightseeing. The surrounding environment was safe and clean, with a pleasant living atmosphere, making it very suitable for both short-term travel and business trips. The room was cleaned very thoroughly. The floor, bedding, and bathroom were all very clean, with no unpleasant odors. Toiletries were well prepared, and the attention to detail was excellent, making the stay reassuring and comfortable. Overall, it offered great value for money. Being able to enjoy such a high-quality accommodation environment at this price was truly satisfying. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations. Whether in terms of the environment, facilities, cleanliness, or service, it is well worth a high rating.
