Our student accommodation in Colchester, Hythe Mills, is all about the location. Only 1 mile from The University of Essex’s Colchester Campus and right on the doorstep to many local amenities. Just a short bus journey or cycle ride away there are three large shopping centres in the centre of town, which include high street favourites as well as cute independent shops.

Colchester is home to some of the country’s most historical sites with the Roman Circus Centre and Colchester Castle both nearby.

From Hythe Mills you can easily hop on a bus or train to get around Essex and visits the vast amount of tourist hot spots such as Colchester Zoo, the seaside at Clacton- On- Sea or Adventure Island theme park at Southend-On-Sea.
