👍 Pros: Excellent location, friendly service · Unbeatable location: This is widely recognized by almost all residents as the biggest advantage. The apartment is located right in the center of the DMU campus, just a 2–3 minute walk to school. It is also only about a 10-minute walk to the city center. · Friendly staff: The front desk and staff are very kind and welcoming. Several residents specifically praised Jamie, Jessie, Aaliyah, and Purba. · Spacious and comfortable rooms: Many residents feel the rooms are larger than expected, especially the Studio units, which were described as "quite large for Leicester." The shared living room in the Ensuite units is very large. The rooms are equipped with electric heaters, so keeping warm is not an issue. 👎 Cons: Poor soundproofing, outdated facilities · Poor soundproofing: This is the issue residents complain about the most. The walls are thin, making it easy to be affected by noise from neighbors. · Interior environment and facilities: Some residents feel the building is a bit dim and run-down (dingy). Frequent elevator malfunctions are also mentioned multiple times.

This is a cozy little place, and the actual stay has been much better than I expected. It is an en-suite room with a private bedroom and bathroom, plus a shared living room and kitchen. It is located on the De Montfort University campus, in the city center, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the large Tesco, making grocery shopping and daily shopping very convenient. I have two roommates from China 🇨🇳 and two roommates from the UK 🇬🇧. They are all very nice, especially the two British roommates. They can teach me English and have daily conversations with me, so my spoken English has improved quickly. They also teach me how to make local food. Downstairs is the supermarket, right outside is the train station, and the street is a restaurant street. It's a great place to live.

This building was new when moving in, and the furniture is all very new. There are two rooms with a soundproof door; there are only six households on each floor, making it very quiet. Usually, deliveries are left at the front desk, which has a Chinese receptionist.

There are Chinese service staff, the check-in process is very smooth, and many gifts such as bedding and kitchenware are provided. The environment is very good, highly recommended for staying.

The Zone apartments near the University of Leicester have a great location, with New Walk not far away, ample greenery, and pleasant scenery. It is not far from the city center, with Tesco and Sainsbury's very close by, and a 15-minute walk to the University of Leicester. The common areas in the hallways are quite clean, and the internet speed is generally stable with occasional lags that quickly resolve themselves. If there are any facility issues, maintenance will come by promptly to check and resolve them. Pest control and smoke detectors are also inspected regularly, with advance notice given. The management is quite organized.
