However, the apartment is very close to the school and various facilities, so there is no special need to drive. When applying for a refund, you need to provide a confirmation letter from the university to withdraw the offer - please provide it within 72 hours after receiving the official confirmation letter. Please note that this is the only case where the booking fee, or deposit (in Scotland only) is refundable.

You can move out at any time, but the tenancy agreement with iQ is for a fixed term and you will still be required to pay the full rent until the contract expires. In special cases, the operation manager has the right to allow the guest to terminate the contract in advance.

The safety of students is always our top priority. iQ Student Accommodation takes a highly proactive approach to fire security, including:

Smoke or heat detectors are installed in every bedroom and kitchen.
Sprinklers, wet risers, and automatic smoke ventilation are equipped in some properties, depending on the building design.
Fire detection systems are installed throughout all buildings.
Fire alarms are connected to a central monitoring service, via Red Care, in the vast majority of buildings.
On-site staff underwent specialised training in fire safety, including responding to fire alarms and conducting regular building inspections.

The fire security systems at iQ Astor House are confirmed by independent fire engineers, regularly maintained and serviced in line with relevant British Standards, and inspected by both external qualified fire risk assessors and internal Health & Safety officers. All properties are verified to be safe and suitable for living.
