Kendrick Hall - Reading student accommodation
Excellent 20 Reviews

Overall, living at Kendrick Hall has been a pretty good experience. The rooms and common areas are quite clean, and the facilities are fairly complete. The hot water supply is usually very stable, and I basically haven’t experienced any issues with no hot water, so showering fully meets daily needs. The location is also decent, making it convenient to get to school. Shopping nearby is not too much trouble either, as there is a supermarket within walking distance, which makes daily grocery shopping very convenient. The accommodation is generally quiet, the living environment is comfortable, and the staff are quite friendly. If you are studying in Reading, it is a relatively hassle-free accommodation option.
I stayed here for a whole academic year, and the overall living experience was quite good, providing a lot of convenience for my study abroad life. First of all, the location of the apartment is great, with complete living facilities nearby; supermarkets, restaurants, and bus stops are all very convenient, making daily shopping and commuting quite worry-free. Whether going to school or going out, the transportation is very convenient, saving a lot of time. The room is generally clean, and the hygiene status was good upon moving in. The furniture and basic facilities are well equipped, meeting the needs of daily life and study. The room has ample storage space, making it quite comfortable to live in. The public areas are also well maintained, and the hygiene situation is generally good. The service attitude of the apartment staff is commendable. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and can patiently answer questions when problems arise, actively assisting with any issues that need help. The maintenance response speed is also quite timely; after submitting a repair request, they basically arrange for staff to come and handle it as soon as possible, which is quite reassuring. I am also quite satisfied with the safety aspect. The apartment has a standardized access control management, making the overall living environment relatively safe, which significantly increases the sense of security for international students. It feels reassuring to return to the apartment at night. During this year of residence, I also met many classmates from different countries and regions, adding many wonderful memories to my study abroad life. The overall atmosphere is suitable for both studying and living; it is not particularly noisy while still being vibrant, as a student apartment should be. Overall, this is a student apartment with a high cost-performance ratio, regardless of its location, living environment, or staff service.
The living experience is very good, especially the natural lighting. Compared with several other apartments in Reading, the sound insulation is excellent—you can’t hear any noise from next door at all. For students who care a lot about sleep quality, this is a very good choice.
Great, really great A very quiet dormitory area Very close to the city center and not far from the school
The room has floor-to-ceiling windows with screens, making it easy to open for ventilation, and it is very bright. The location is great, conveniently close to both the school and the city center. Outside the window, there is greenery and fresh air.
I have had an amazing experience living at Kendrick Hall. The amenities are top-notch and always well-maintained. The Wi-Fi is incredibly fast and reliable, which is perfect for my studies.
Very satisfied, the environmental conditions are good.
It's okay, the apartment is well-located, convenient, safe, and overall satisfactory.
