Apartments for Rent in New York, NY

My Wonderful Apartment Rental Experience in Manhattan, New York Hi everyone! Today I'd love to share my experience of renting my dream apartment in Manhattan, New York. As an international student from China, I was both excited and nervous when I first arrived in New York. Everything felt new and full of opportunities, but finding a place to live was definitely one of the biggest challenges. When I first started apartment hunting, I was surprised by how expensive rents were in Manhattan. On top of that, the best apartments were usually rented out within days. I spent a lot of time reading apartment-hunting tips on Xiaohongshu (RED) and joined several rental groups before finally finding my current apartment, Greystone, through uhomes. Why I Love My Apartment The apartment is located in Midtown Manhattan, with excellent transportation. It's only a few minutes' walk from the nearest subway station. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores nearby, making daily life incredibly convenient. I rented a one-bedroom apartment. Although it's not very large, the layout is well designed, and every inch of space is used efficiently. Apartment Hunting Tips Here are a few tips I'd like to share with anyone planning to rent in New York: Start your search early The rental market is highly competitive, especially for quality apartments. Decide on your budget and priorities in advance so you're ready to act quickly. Build a good credit history In the U.S., your credit score plays an important role in the rental application process. Maintaining good credit can significantly improve your chances of securing your preferred apartment. Inspect the apartment carefully Before signing the lease, check the condition of the apartment thoroughly. Make sure all appliances and facilities are working properly, and report any issues to the landlord immediately. Read the lease carefully Take the time to understand every clause in the lease agreement, including rent, security deposit, lease term, and any additional fees, so there are no surprises later. I hope my experience helps anyone who's planning to rent an apartment in New York. Wishing you all the best in finding your perfect home.

Good location on Manhattan's 99th Street, close to supermarkets, restaurants and transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, and daily living was convenient. Wi-Fi was stable and the stay was overall pleasant. Good value for Manhattan.

This time renting a house through this agency was a particularly good experience, and I must commend them. From the very beginning, during the communication of my needs, the agent patiently listened to my budget, location, and housing type requirements. They didn't make blind recommendations but instead precisely selected a few suitable properties, saving me time and avoiding unnecessary trips. During the viewings, they were also very professional, honestly explaining the pros and cons of each property, and proactively reminding me of some details that are easy to overlook when renting, such as the payment methods for utilities and the surrounding transportation facilities. The signing process was also very smooth. The contract terms were explained clearly, and any areas I didn't understand were promptly clarified, with no tricks throughout the process. After moving in, there was a minor appliance malfunction, and the agent quickly helped coordinate a resolution. Overall, the service was very reassuring, efficient, and reliable. Choosing them for renting really eased my worries, and I recommend them to friends in need~

Clean, well-lit, brand new, and a comfortable new home. Bus stop and subway station right outside—super convenient. Supermarkets are just a few steps away. Great facilities and concierge services. Highly recommend!

The location is great, everything is nearby, the environment is safe, close to the subway station and the park, and you can take the school bus to and from school. The living room is very large, there's a doorman, and overall it's really nice!

Service quality is perfect, and every aspect of the apartment is excellent!

Very good apartment, really love it, everything is great.

As expected, I have finally resolved my concerns.

Very satisfied and will always support Yishang Haoju

The apartment is new, in a prime location, with complete public facilities and good service attitude.

The experience was非常好

The apartment is in a great location with complete facilities, and the doorman is super nice.

Very good, the service is in place, I will use this software for renting a house again.

The overall environment of the apartment is very good, the facilities are relatively new, and it is quite quiet inside the building. The gym, laundry room, and common areas are well-maintained, and the management team's communication efficiency is high, with a relatively quick response to problems. Transportation and daily life are very convenient, and the overall living experience is satisfying.

The facility's internet speed and location are among the best nearby; it takes just 5 minutes to get to Columbia when you go downstairs, which is very conducive to studying. The interior is up to hotel standards, clean and tidy. The prices are indeed relatively high, but it reduces a lot of internal friction. The safety is very high; you must swipe your card to enter the door, the elevator, and the room.

The security is very good and very safe. The facilities are also very complete and nice.

The interior decoration of the apartment is warm, and the door is an electronic lock. It is very safe. front door will also help to deliver takeout to the unit door. There is a parking lot downstairs, which makes life very convenient. The location is near Lincoln Center, a little distance from Times Square, which just increases safety. There are only a few pedestrians on the road around the apartment, which is less than Times Square, but it does not appear deserted. There are ups when walking 0.5 mi, which is convenient for returning goods. There are dentists, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

The service was excellent, the process was very smooth, and I really loved the house.

I am very grateful to my senior for recommending Yixiang. During the difficult pandemic period, I was able to rent my ideal house. I will recommend it to my friends!
