From April this year, we will email eligible students accommodation application invitation emails. Firstly, Click the link in the email to go to the University’s accommodation website. Secondly, select your four accommodation options online (it takes about 15 minutes) and submit your application.

Allocation

The University’s accommodation allocation is based on the principles of fairness and transparency. Students will be randomly allocated accommodation from the submitted accommodation options using a computerised process, considering factors such as the campus of the course they are enrolled in, their age and so on.

Confirmation

Accommodation offers for students with unconditional offers will be made around mid-May. Besides, accommodation provides for students with conditional offers will generally be made in mid to late August. After receiving an accommodation offer, you need to decide whether to accept it within 3 days, after which it may be cancelled automatically, so please keep a close eye on your personal email and accommodation application account. Before accepting the accommodation offer, please read and accept the corresponding terms and conditions and pay 2 weeks of dormitory rent in advance as a deposit to officially confirm the accommodation.

About Rent

After the first rent payment, the remaining rent can be completed in three equal instalments in October, January and April. You must keep track of the dates and pay your rent in full and on time, as the University has the right to charge 7% interest per annum on late payments. The University will also have the right to terminate the accommodation contract if payment is 28 days or more overdue.

If the whole year’s amount is paid in one lump sum at the time of confirmation of acceptance of accommodation, then you will receive a 2% reduction in rent. Details of all payment methods will be sent to applicants with the notification email, so be sure to check your email in time.
