Short-Term Student Accommodation in Newcastle

Facilities: St James Point facilities are generally sufficient, just lacking a gym. Any indoor damages can be reported to the front desk for repair, and the front desk staff are overall very nice. However, the South Asian staff member Neha has a mediocre attitude towards Chinese people. There will be a sanitation check when vacating this apartment. Other staff members generally won't make it particularly difficult for students, and it's best to vacate when Neha is not around. Internet Speed: Sufficient for daily use, ask4 provides network setup, with one account allowing up to 6 free wireless device connections. Students who like to game can bring their own network cables, as there are network ports available in the dormitory. Soundproofing: The soundproofing in the UK is generally average, as the rooms have wooden partitions; this is the case in most student apartments, at a normal value level. Hygiene: There will not be regular cleaning inside the rooms; instead, there will be an indoor hygiene check at the end of each year and a spring inspection. If the first clean is not satisfactory, there will be a second check, and if the second fails, there could theoretically be a fine. Students living in studios can clean their own rooms, while students in ensuites should arrange cleaning for the shared kitchen themselves. Currently, there haven't been any failures on my part, but it's important to clean well during inspections. In addition to the cleaning charges when vacating, each person must ensure cleaning is done at least three times a year. Location: Close to the business school and computer science department, about a 3-5 minute walk. Near the city center, there is a Tesco convenience store downstairs (which basically closes at 23:30), and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the city center where there is a Chinese supermarket. The subway station is nearby, so transportation can be relied upon.

Students looking for housing in Newcastle can check out this St Mary's Newcastle place I recently came across~ Personally, I care a lot about the living atmosphere when renting, and I'm not a fan of noisy street-facing apartments. This one really fits what I'm looking for. Overall, it has a very authentic British manor-style architecture, with a courtyard-like environment, plenty of greenery all around, and an open, unobstructed view. Plus, it's located in a purely local residential area, so the atmosphere is especially quiet. Daily living, studying, and resting won't be disturbed at all, making it really comfortable to live in. Here's the commute info everyone cares about most: It takes about 21 minutes by bus to Newcastle University, and around 40 minutes to Northumbria University. The commute feels very manageable. The biggest surprise is the price! Compared with similar student apartments in Newcastle, it offers really great value for money. The price is very affordable, so international students with a limited budget should definitely consider it. I also found it by slowly filtering and comparing options on uhomes. The consultant recommended places accurately based on my budget and needs, so I didn't have to blindly search through listings myself, which saved me a lot of hassle. Honestly, it's perfect for students who like a quiet environment, prefer lots of greenery, and want great value for money! #UKRenting #NewcastleRenting #NewcastleStudentAccommodation #uhomes #uhomes.com #StudyInTheUK

The accommodation finding service with uhomes was so smooth. My agent, khin is very professional, and very efficient. From the very beginning, communication was clear and timely, making the booking process easy and stress-free.

I had a very good experience with uhomes.com. The booking process was smooth, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and always responded to my questions quickly. They made my move-in process easy and stress-free. The room is clean, quiet, and comfortable, and I'm happy with my accommodation. The only issue is the laundry room. I hope they will solve this very soon.

I lived in Newcastle 1 for a while, and the overall experience was very good. The apartment is well-located, close to Newcastle University, the city center, supermarkets, and the metro station, making daily classes, shopping, and commuting very convenient.

The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities, and it was well maintained upon check-in. When problems arise, the staff is quick to respond. The front desk and management team are very friendly and patient, making communication smooth and giving a sense of security during the stay.

The common areas of the apartment are also well maintained, with comprehensive security measures in place, and the overall living environment is quiet and comfortable, making it very suitable for student life and study. There are also community events held regularly, allowing residents to meet new friends from different countries.

Overall, the living experience at Newcastle 1 is satisfactory, with good performance in terms of location, living environment, and service quality. It is worth recommending to students coming to study in Newcastle.

The location of the apartment is excellent, situated in the center of Newcastle, with convenient transportation and nearby shopping centers, supermarkets, and restaurants. The train station can be reached within a few minutes' walk. Moreover, the view from the apartment windows is spectacular, overlooking the entire city, allowing me to enjoy beautiful sunrises every day upon waking up. The internal facilities of the apartment are fully equipped, with each bedroom being spacious and bright, featuring comfortable beds and storage space. The kitchen is well-equipped, allowing me to easily cook my favorite meals. The living room is spacious, providing an ideal place for gatherings with roommates and friends.

Super satisfied, really good, meets expectations, very fast internet speed, well-equipped facilities, and most importantly, very high safety!

I am very satisfied with the recommended house, and it has never been sublet in the meantime; it is very good.

I really love it, I'm dead in love, oh my god

The room and facilities are relatively new, exceeding expectations. Very satisfied.

The location of the View is very good, making life and study very convenient. The ensuite is fully equipped, and the room setup is very orderly. It has been very comfortable to live here for a year.

Living in The View apartments at Newcastle University is a fantastic experience. It's only a 10-minute walk to the main campus and just a 5-minute walk to the city center. There's a Tesco supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient. The business school of Newcastle University is only 50 meters next to the apartment, making both studying and living very convenient. Additionally, the living environment here is comfortable, and the 24-hour security makes residents feel safe. In short, The View apartments are an ideal living choice.

Very good, very good, very good, especially good

The house is great (facilities, environment, transportation, very close to the school, and very safe, the administrator is also very nice)

Everything is very good, the internet speed is fast, the heating is sufficient, 24h hot water, and it's quite close to the school. Tesco is right downstairs.

Seriously, Rajiv Cardoz was a lifesaver! He totally helped me get a studio in Newcastle, and I even got my £150 cashback.

Very good, the surrounding environment is good, and the service is good.

Very good house, clean, and the staff is serious.

The accommodation is both great and affordable, very wonderful.

No doubt about the geographical location. Just live in the business and IT fields without overthinking.
