I’ve been living at Chapter Kings Cross for a week now, so here are my thoughts. Facilities: Overall, it has all the basic essentials, including a fridge, microwave, extractor fan, and shower facilities. The only downside is that there’s no washing machine in the room, so you have to go to the basement level to do laundry, and there’s an extra charge. But overall, it’s still okay—no major issues, and it’s definitely livable. Internet speed: The internet speed is excellent, as fast as ever. It still uses the ASK4 WiFi network system. When you first move in, just connect one commonly used device, register with an email account, fill in the necessary information such as your room number, and you’re all set. Any other devices can then connect directly. Each room’s WiFi can support up to 6 devices at the same time, and the space is also very, very spacious. Soundproofing: Overall, the soundproofing is pretty good. I’ve been sleeping well these past few days and have hardly ever been woken up by noise from next door. As for outdoor noise, you can close the window and wear earplugs, and everything is still easy to deal with. Cleanliness: When I first moved in, the fridge had a bit of an odor and the extractor fan was a little dusty. But I wiped and cleaned the parts I could handle myself with alcohol wipes. As for the two issues mentioned above, I contacted the front desk, and they were resolved directly within a few days. I’d say they are very responsible toward students in this regard. Overall, the cleanliness is also great. Location: The location is very convenient. It’s within a 30-minute walk of London train stations, the British Museum, and UCL, and it’s also in central London.

This is my first stay in this hotel, and overall, it feels good. The room size is about what was described, not as small as I imagined, with a reasonable layout that doesn't feel cramped. The facilities are quite complete, with a refrigerator, hairdryer, and toiletries all available for convenient use. What I am most satisfied with is the cleanliness; many details show that it has been thoroughly cleaned. The location is also good, with convenience stores, restaurants, and a subway nearby, making it very convenient to go out. The overall value for money is pretty high.

The child checked into Chapter Kings Cross, which is not as terrible as described in some books; in fact, the experience was quite good. Firstly, the geographical location is excellent, right next to King's Cross Station, with subway and train connections readily available; secondly, the rooms are very new and clean; I don't know how they manage to keep it so spotless, and there are no signs of mold in the bathroom, which I was very satisfied with (since I personally visited this apartment in London while sending my child). Furthermore, according to my child, there is someone at the front desk 24 hours a day, and it feels quite safe. It's a 20-minute walk to UCL. There are several big supermarkets around such as Waitrose and M&S; in short, apart from the high prices, there are no other issues.

The facilities are okay, but it gets very hot in the summer without air conditioning. The soundproofing is also average, and sometimes people hold parties very late at night. However, the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, which is pretty good.

Overall, it was still pretty good. 16 square meters is actually quite spacious without a kitchen, and it felt like the staff had cleaned everything before check-in. Although I did wipe it down again... it's quite clean. The bathroom is a bit small, and the shower isn't a glass door as I imagined, but rather enclosed with a plastic curtain. However, it was still acceptable to use. 😌 There is a somewhat wobbly rack in the room that I reported for repair and am still waiting for a staff response. But I'll just wait and see. I strongly recommend booking the plus room type, as it has been renovated and will be closer to the pictures on the official website.

Hot water is often cut off, and receiving packages is very troublesome; I almost lost two packages! This place is close to the main road, and when I first arrived, there were honking sounds every day, which was very noisy! It's okay once you get used to it! But it still has an impact. The desk configuration and bed are quite good, and the commute is indeed convenient; it takes only 15 minutes to get to school at ioe, and there is a Sainsbury's within a 2-minute distance. In 10 minutes, I can reach a market with Waitrose, Sainsbury's, M&S, MUJI, and other stores.

The service is very good, the price is very high, the room has all kinds of facilities, and the bed is very comfortable. The room I live in is on the same floor as the gym, so I can walk to the gym in a short time. There is a study room on the second floor that is open 24 hours a day. It was a huge surprise for someone I wanted to study by myself. In short, I like the environment very much, I live here very close to the school, so I like it very much!

The geographical location of the apartment is quite advantageous, as it is close to the subway station and train station, and the school is within walking distance. Additionally, a new supermarket has just opened downstairs, which is great. However, the hot water in the apartment is occasionally not hot at night, and the fire alarm is very sensitive, causing inconvenience in daily life.
