Olympic Way is an excellent student accommodation in London! Located near the world-famous Wembley Stadium. Built-in 2016, Olympic Way provides students in London with 18 floors of flats and a choice of 629 ensuite and 70 studio room types to cater to a wide range of students. The student housing in London offers a variety of Ensuite and Studio rooms types, all with ensuite bathrooms and 3/4 double beds. The residence halls have a recreation room, a cinema room and a study room on the 17th floor, which also has an outdoor balcony with great views. Many shops, restaurants and bars surround the flat, less than 20 minutes from the University and Central London. As well as the iconic Stadium and SSE Arena, you'll find plenty of exciting places around Wembley Park.

 

Features:

The most significant room is a 10-person Ensuite; a small number is a 7-8-person Ensuite. Students who choose to live in the Ensuite rooms share a kitchen with multiple people. Ensuite rooms are equipped with a shared kitchen, ensuite bathroom, modern kitchen, a soft bed and desk, and ensuite kitchen with basic kitchen facilities such as refrigerator, microwave oven, etc. Individual bedrooms have 3/4-size beds (190cm*75cm), desks, ample storage space, etc. Studio rooms are spacious for students, with modern kitchens, bathrooms and desks. The kitchens are also equipped with basic kitchen facilities such as refrigerators, microwaves, ensuite beds, desks, adequate storage space, etc. 

In addition to that, there are several quiet study areas and a vast TV area with a sofa and comfortable chairs. The balcony on the 17th floor of the flat block has excellent views over Greater London, and the 2nd floor has views of Olympic Street and the Wembley Stadium beyond. Even better, the 2nd-floor balcony has been artificially turfed and fitted with sun loungers. You can sunbathe or study here. A few rooms have corner windows. The table tennis here can be used free of charge. A washing machine and dryer are available in the laundry room, which students pay for with a coin. Each kitchen is cleaned and cleaned every fortnight by a cleaning service.

 

Location and What's Hot?

Olympic Way student flats are located in the Wembley area of London, which is very convenient for living and studying. There is a Day One Express convenience store, Peace Pharmacy, hairdressers and several coffee shops within a 4-minute walk. Wembley Park Tube Station is a 9-minute walk away, with McDonald's, Lidl supermarkets, and several shopping centres for everyday relaxation. The Wembley Library and Activity Centre are also nearby. As well as the iconic Stadium and SSE Arena, you'll find plenty of exciting places around Wembley Park. At London's famous Outlet shopping centre, you can enjoy up to 70% off top clothing brands or catch a movie at the nine-screen cinema. At Boxpark Wembley, you'll find plenty of places to eat, drink and be merry.

 

Transport:

Olympic Way is located in West London, about a 10-minute walk to Wembley Park Station on the Underground and about 15 minutes by Tube to the central London area. The Metropolitan line takes you directly to the UCL main campus (14 minutes). Preston Road bus station is a 5-minute walk from the near-campus student accommodation and is served by the 245 line, While North Wembley train and tube stations are also within a 15-minute walk of the Halls of Residence, making it easy to get around.

 

Security and Services:

Olympic Way Apartments offer round-the-clock CCTV surveillance, thus ensuring that students live in a safe and secure environment. In addition, the apartments have their maintenance team and 24-hour security so that you can report any problems with the facilities directly to the front desk. The flats will be repaired as soon as possible. Free 200MB WiFi is available in all rooms and common areas and can be upgraded for a fee.

Cancellation Policy

No Visa No Pay

No Visa No Pay (NVNP)
a.If the student who has completed their booking has their visa application rejected, the student can provide evidence of the refusal and the booking will get cancelled with no liability.
b.For the evidence at 7(a) above to be valid it must:
i.be submitted within 7 days of the student receiving it;
ii.include the student's name and the date at which it was received;
iii.be received prior to 31 August of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in August or September;
iv.be received prior to 15 January of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in December or January.
c.Students can only cancel under 7(a) above, and under the NVNP policy, if they have applied for a visa and can evidence this. Students who haven't got a visa because they haven't applied for one are not eligible for the NVNP cancellation policy.

No Place No Pay

No Place No Pay (NPNP)
a.If the student who has completed their booking for a room is not accepted at a university in the city where they have booked a room with us, the student is able to cancel their room outside of the cooling-off period without the need for a replacement tenant provided they are able to provide evidence that they have not met the requirements for their offer or have been rejected by the university for some other reason.
b.For the evidence at 6(a) above to be valid it must:
i.be submitted within 7 days of the student receiving it;
ii.include the student's name and the date at which it was received;
iii.be received prior to 31 August of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in August or September;
iv.be received prior to 15 January of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in December or January.
c.We reserve the right to check with the university if the evidence is genuine or fake. Providing fake / photoshopped documents is forgery and is an offense punishable by law in the UK.

Refund Guarantees Time Limit

3 days to accept the offer+ 7 days cooling-off period
Once a booking is processed, the student has 3 days to accept the offer. It means for the student and the guarantor to accept the contract and pay the £250 advance rent payment. (For bookings in England only. No Advance Rent Payment is required for bookings in Scotland).

Once these steps are done, the booking is completed.
If one of the step is not completed within these 3 days, the offer will expire.
If the student still wants a room, we can re-process a booking, but we cannot guarantee that the same room or the same price will be available.
Once the booking is completed, the student has another 7 days to change their mind and cancel their booking without any reasons. This is called the cooling-off period.

Making a Booking

International cancellation provisions
These additional cancellation provisions apply for any individual making a booking outside of the United Kingdom.
1.Cooling Off Period – the provisions for the Cooling Off Period set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply;
2.After the Cooling Off Period - Once the Cooling Off Period has expired the Tenant remains liable for the rent for the whole length of the tenancy unless they want to cancel with one of these 3 conditions:
-No Place No Pay: the provisions for No Place No Pay set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply, save that this option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
-No Visa No Pay:if the student doesn’t get their visa to come and study in the UK, the student must send us the visa application rejection letter within 7 days of receiving it. On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided we are satisfied, we will cancel your Tenancy Agreement and refund any deposit or advance rent paid in full. This option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
-No ATAS certificate, No Pay: Some international students coming to the UK to study in very specific fields need to apply for an ATAS certificate. (Academic Technology Approval Scheme). If a student’s ATAS certificate application is rejected the student must send us the ATAS certificate application rejection letter within 7 days of receiving it. On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided we are satisfied, we will cancel your Tenancy Agreement and refund any deposit or advance rent paid in full. This option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
The cancellation requests along with the proof documents must be sent by the student, from the email address they have registered their account with Unite Students and must be sent to internationalcancellations@unitestudents.com.
If an agent is involved the evidence must be sent to the agent and then forwarded on to internationalcancellations@unitestudents.com.
3. Replacement Tenants - the provisions for the Cooling Off Period set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply. Please note the point that Unite Students is under no obligation to enter into a Tenancy Agreement with any replacement Tenant that is suggested under this provision.
Passed the 31st August, the No Place No Pay and No Visa No Pay do not apply.
The student remains liable for the rent unless they find a replacement Tenant.
