There was construction during the summer vacation, causing serious dust. Even the door handle was covered in dust, and the room was affected as well. The fan got very dirty in less than a week. The elevator was out of service for a month.
The range hood seems broken and is completely useless. It can’t even remove the steam from regular cooking. When I asked for maintenance, they said it was set to the lowest level and asked me to listen for any sound from the ceiling, since the range hood power adjustment is there. I couldn’t hear anything at all and felt like they were just brushing me off. Then they told me that many residents had complained before, so they increased the power for them, but then people found it noisy at night, so they had to turn it back down in the end, and nothing was resolved. So if you choose to live here, you’ll need to buy air freshener spray and a fan, otherwise the smell from stir-frying is very hard to get rid of.
I live on the side facing the park, and it’s quiet at night with the windows closed. But the rooms facing the tracks on the opposite side are very noisy, even with the windows closed, so choose your room direction carefully.

First of all, this apartment is only a sidewalk distance from the railway, about 5 meters, next to Waterloo Station, with three parallel tracks. It is impossible to open the windows; even with the windows closed, the sound from the tracks is so loud that it makes people dizzy. What’s worse is that they work on the railway at night (1-3 AM), and the noise is comparable to that of drilling during renovations. In winter, the hot water for bathing only reaches 40 degrees, and the perceived temperature is even lower. This Christmas, the elevator broke down, apparently due to sewage leakage, and no one took care of it for two months. The entire ground floor was extremely stinky, like seafood that had gone bad after sitting for months. At first, we residents even thought someone had dumped a body in the elevator shaft.
