Rooms to Rent in Manchester

I absolutely loved my stay at Chandos House! The Gold En Suite Plus room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable year. The location on Granby Row is unbeatable – super close to campus and local amenities, making daily life really easy. The staff were friendly and responsive whenever I had questions, and the building facilities (like the common areas and laundry) were always kept in great condition. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience, and I'd definitely recommend it to other students!

There is an ASDA supermarket and an Asian supermarket right downstairs from the apartment building, and Sainsbury's is about a 7-minute walk away, so you can even go out in your pajamas to buy groceries. It takes about 12–15 minutes to walk to the University of Manchester, about 6 minutes to Oxford Road train station, and about 25 minutes to the city center. One resident commented that "the location is impeccable."‌‌ The facilities and interior design have received consistent praise. Wooden-style appliances, a light-luxury design, and oversized floor-to-ceiling windows that can be freely opened for ventilation come as standard. Rooms are also equipped with a kettle, toaster, and adjustable heating. One resident described it by saying, "When I first walked into the lobby, I didn't even feel like it was student accommodation—my friend said it looked like a hotel." Shared facilities include a gym, yoga room, spa treatment room, study room, cinema room, and private dining area. Soundproofing is generally reported to be good, and the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, with issues handled relatively quickly.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Burlington Square. My housing manager, Wynne, was extremely helpful and professional throughout my stay. She responded quickly to all my questions, made the move-in process smooth, and ensured that everything was well taken care of. Her friendly attitude and efficiency made me feel very comfortable and supported. Thank you, Wynne, for making my short stay such a pleasant one!

To be true this is the best and place to find cheapest and suitable accommodation with such polite people working here. Almaas, the agent I got who helped in finding the room from uhomes she was really helpful.

After living at Square Gardens for a while, my overall experience has been very good. The location is really convenient—it's quite close to the University of Manchester, Oxford Road, and the city center, and it's also easy to shop and eat nearby. The rooms are relatively new overall, with decent space and storage, and the common areas are comfortable too. The gym, study areas, and lounges basically meet everyday living and study needs. The apartment is generally quiet, so it doesn't feel too noisy when studying. The staff are also quite friendly, and issues can usually be communicated and handled in a timely manner. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with my stay. Although the price isn't exactly cheap, if you care about location, environment, and facilities, I think Square Gardens is still worth considering.

Overall, it's a very good choice. The Lidl downstairs basically covers daily necessities, and there are also a few Express stores from other supermarkets nearby. Superdrug has a fairly complete range of medicines as well. The way back from school is along Oxford Road the whole time, and it feels relatively safe at night. After all, there are still quite a lot of pedestrians, and the area is fairly well lit. There are also Chinese supermarkets, Sainsbury's, and Morrisons along the way, so they're all very convenient. The room is decent and standard, and the main thing is that the price is relatively reasonable. The only downside is that it's indeed a bit close to the South Asian area, so it may be noisy at night—mainly during the days around Eid, but most of the time it's still very quiet.

I lived at Square Gardens for a while, and the overall experience was very good. The apartment is very new, the room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were fairly complete. The common areas are beautifully decorated. The gym, study room, and activity areas are all very convenient to use, and the internet speed is also very fast. I basically didn't encounter any issues with studying or daily use. What I was quite satisfied with was the soundproofing. Once the door was closed, it was very quiet overall, and my rest at night wasn't affected much. The front desk staff were also very friendly, and whenever there was a problem, they were generally able to help resolve it promptly. The location is also very convenient. It's not far from the University of Manchester, the city center, or the Oxford Road area, and it's also very convenient to shop and eat downstairs. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the facilities, internet speed, soundproofing, and living environment. Among the apartments I've lived in in Manchester, this has been one of the best experiences. Highly recommended!

The overall living experience at Square Gardens is excellent. The apartment building is very new, with modern and simple interior finishes. The rooms are spacious, and the furniture and appliances are fully equipped. All the facilities needed for daily living are provided, so you hardly need to buy anything extra after moving in. The apartment's internet speed is stable and strong; whether you are taking online classes, looking up academic materials, streaming shows, or having video calls, everything runs very smoothly without lag, which is very student-friendly for international students. The soundproofing in the apartment is pleasantly surprising. Once the door is closed, noise from the hallway and outside is basically blocked out. Even though the surrounding area can be busy, the room still provides a quiet environment, so studying and resting are not disturbed, allowing you to focus on your studies with peace of mind. The location is a major advantage. There is a Chinese supermarket and an Asda right downstairs, making it very convenient to buy groceries and daily necessities without having to travel far. The surrounding public transportation is also well developed, making it easy to get to the various University of Manchester campuses, saving both time and effort on commuting. The apartment's common areas are kept clean and tidy, and security management is well handled. Access requires authorization, which gives residents a strong sense of safety. The apartment staff respond promptly, and maintenance issues are usually dealt with quickly after being reported. Overall, Square Gardens is very suitable for University of Manchester international students. Its facilities, everyday convenience, and quiet living environment are all impressive. Whether for daily study, living, or relaxation, it offers a very good experience. It is a highly worthwhile apartment choice for renting in Manchester, and I would recommend it to students coming to Manchester for their studies.

Facilities: The public facilities are nice, and the common areas are pleasant. You can access them easily and go to the gym every day. Wi-Fi Speed: The Wi-Fi is very fast, but sometimes there are issues, which are fixed quickly. Quietness: The room is quiet, but the nearby building can be a little loud on weekdays. Cleanliness: The room is clean. Location: Convenient

This stay was genuinely very nice, and the apartment overall was much better than expected. First of all, the location was very convenient, with easy access to transportation, places to eat, and shopping nearby, so there was no need to spend a long time getting around. The room as a whole was very clean and tidy. My first impression when I walked in was that it felt very well kept, with no unpleasant odors. The bedding, bathroom, and common areas were all quite clean, which made the stay feel very reassuring. The room was also very well equipped, with basically everything needed for daily use, and I did not encounter any problems while using the facilities. The furniture and decor all looked relatively new, and the space was arranged very reasonably, so it did not feel crowded. The bed was very comfortable, with just the right level of firmness, and I slept very well at night. The soundproofing especially deserves praise. I was initially worried it might be noisy at night, but it was actually very quiet during the stay, with almost no disturbance from outside noise, making for a great sleep experience. The internet speed was also fast and stable. Whether watching videos, working, or making video calls, there were no issues at all, and there was no lag or disconnection. The room also had good natural light, making it bright during the day, and the overall environment felt very comfortable. In addition, both the check-in and check-out processes went smoothly, with no real hassle, and communication was very convenient whenever there were questions. Overall, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, facilities, internet speed, soundproofing, and living comfort, and the value for money was also good. If I have the chance to come here again in the future, I would be happy to stay again and would also recommend it to friends. Five-star review!

Staying at the Vita high-end student apartment feels great👍🏻 The front desk is very welcoming and friendly, and the check-in process is super convenient. The apartment comes with a gym, recreation room, cinema, study room, laundry room, and lounge, among others. The entertainment life beyond studying is very exciting and can greatly enrich the study abroad experience. I live in room 922 of FS, and the room layout is particularly good, with a partition between the kitchen and bedroom, so no need to worry about living in greasiness while in the studio!

New facilities, high efficiency in apartment management services.

Excellent geographical location, very nice layout, spacious rooms with separate study and dining tables.

The room is much larger than I expected, and the apartment has complete security facilities and amenities. The sister from Yixiang Good Residence is especially patient!!! The canvas is really great 👍

The apartment location is really great; it's less than a ten-minute walk to Adele Square, which has many big supermarkets and shopping malls, making it very convenient to buy things. Moreover, the apartment has a gym, a lounge, and the facilities are very new, so it's impressive to invite friends over. Also, every room in the apartment has air conditioning, the common area has a washer-dryer combo, and all bills are included, so you can use it as much as you want as long as you don't waste it. It's not far from the school either, with direct bus routes or you can ride a bike, which is even faster, taking only about ten minutes. Living here feels really fulfilling.

Very timely rental service, very attentive replies, very high work efficiency.

The dormitory environment is very good, with complete facilities and excellent soundproofing. The hall often has snacks and fruits available. Highly recommended for staying!

The equipment is new, well-configured, and the network security is quite good. What I like the most is the public area downstairs, which has a movie room, a gym, a kitchen, a study room, and recreational space!

RST's perspective is so great. When I'm feeling down, I often look out the window, and my mind becomes calm. I really love my little place, hahaha. Having a full-length mirror in the room is truly the best. The storage space in the cabinet is really big too; I put all my things in, and it still looks empty. [laughing and crying emoji]

Living in Xiaobailou is the best decision I made while coming to Manchester - it's very convenient, close to the school and city center, with 24-hour security, and the house is super spacious!
